LONDON 2012 Olympic Games: Integrated Venue Planning - Model Venue Exercise

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXX Olympiad, are scheduled to take place in London, United Kingdom, from July 27th to August 12th,2012.

London was elected as the host city on July 6th,2005 during the 117th IOC Session in Singapore, defeating Moscow, New York City, Madrid and Paris after four rounds of voting. The successful bid was headed by former Olympic champion Sebastian Coe.

SINERGI was appointed by LOCOG to assist them in the development and delivery of the London 2012 Model Venue Exercise that includes the liaison and the integration of all the operational functional areas between the Organising Committee and external agencies. 

Our team provided guidance and instructions to the Venue Management Department for internal delivery and the implementation of the Model Venue Exercise. We assisted LOCOG in the development of key planning tools and templates for venue operational planning process as well as documentations. We also provided the Venue Management Department with general planning support and operational planning advice.
